    Re: How many loved Daunte?

I think Daunte improved drastically during last year...he showed glipses of what he could become in the future. Im not talking about his numbers or anything like that, he just looked like a more well rounded QB and seemed to be seeing the field better. Dont get me wrong, I think he still has a lot of things to work on.

Sometimes I wonder if Daunte will struggle without Moss next year, but he was already kind of without Moss last year. He will need to be a possession QB...and if our running game stinks, so will Daunte.

I'm optimistic about the guy, but I also realize that he has a tough road ahead of him this season. We'll see how he does!

I was always optimistic with Culpepper, he had so much potential. There were times I wondered if he would ever get the mental game down, but it looks like he has.

I'm usually pretty down on our picks, not really because I think they are that bad but because it's easier than letting yourself get too hopeful. However, with Pep, I always liked the pick. I knew that George and Cunningham were at the tail ends of their careers (George because of attitude and Cunningham because of age) and I thought Pep could learn from Cunningham for a year and be a solid long term starter. The only time I started to doubt Pep is when he kept putting the ball on the ground and I have to admit I still get a little nervous when I see him scramble.

I remember being really down on Pepper because of his awful fumbling troubles but he seems to be getting better about it and I think Pepper is the G.O.A.T. now lol. I'm just happy he became the player he is.
The best part of my day is when I get down on my knees, with my head in my hands, and thank GOD for everything he has given me.

I'll admit that I was down on Daunte when he had his fumbling issue
I'm glad the Vikes picked him up, he is the face of the franchise.

I wonder if Daunte will get a new TD celebration, considering he took the 'Get your roll on' from Randy Moss and Cris Carter - and now BOTH of them are gone.

I was relieved to so a pick that would help build a future. However good they were I was tired of the rotating door at the QB position.

    Hrm Del,

We haven't argued in a bit.

So I liked the revolving door. What do you think about that?
