No way. Carter's stats were that bad. That is amazing how he turned out to be such a dominate player. I guess that just goes to show you that you can't judge a player by their rookie season.

Do we need to keep going over this? He is a darn rookie for crying out loud!
    check out these stats,

    catches 69
    yards total 1313
    average yards per catch 19.0
    TD's 17

those stats belong to a certain 1998 rookie.....
If there's a pisssing contest over this, I'm standing next to you.

Wow, you really dropped off with this fodder.

He was 1 in a million.

    Where is your point?

And who said he was to replace Moss? The media? Because the Vikings sure did not say that or any of their players.

Maybe since he sucks so bad, we can trade him for Dawkins or Reed; kinda tacky.

I guess Carter sucked butt too his rookie season:
    9 Games, 5 Receptions, 84 Yards, and 2 TD's.

Back to your old self I see.
I don't think that it's anything against Williamson, it's that the Front Office traded Moss away for mediocre players.

**One Moss walking off the feild 10 seconds early is better than 2 players sitting on the bench for most of the season.**

yep that's where i want my star player when we would have needed him most. IN THE LOCKER ROOM

come on now think about it , if we recover that ball and for some reason have 1 second left on the clock , would you rather have your reciever on the field or in the locker room pouting?

if this same senario where to happen this season williamson would be 1 of the better options to streak down the field for a last second touchdown.

where's randy can't do anything from the locker room.

Whooo, not me. I'm just saying the FO and/or the coaches screwed up.

i was rebuting your excuse for randy to walk off the field.

my response is while he did and has performed , he decieded that he wasn't going to if we recovered the kick .

shouldn't he be on the hands team?

whose expectation is this? I'm pretty sure it's not the expectations of the team.

At some point, the Mandy Ross fanatics are going to have to come to terms that the guy isn't here and that he's not a panacea for struggling teams, no one person can do that.
