How do you prevent the Dome from going "away" ?

I am just curious. I was talking to a guy down here in Dallas, and he works Cowboys games. He was telling me that during the Packers game down here, there were "way too many" Packers fans. It was like a Packer home game.

I don't live in MN, so I am just wondering, I assume that never happens in the Dome (I hope). Do you guys buy out empty seats as part of the "Deny a Cheesehead" Program, or how do you prevent the dome from turning into "Lambeau Away", for example ?

Obviously, whatever you are doing is working. But I am just curious.

There were way too many cheeseheads at the dome when Farve got the TD record.

Agreed, BLV. I couldn't believe how many of them there were. I was wondering if it was always like that for the Vikes/Pack game or if it was just because of the TD record.

The Packers are one team that "travels well", unfortunately.

I heard that during the Packers - Dallas game, in Dallas. Dallas actually had to audible when on offense, just to hear their own calls (!). In THEIR house !

If I ran for governor ("governator") of Minnesota, and my main platform were, a new law that no Packer fans allowed in the Dome, could I win ?

They start losing like the 49ers and nobody will wear a packer shirt anymore.

Its amazing how many 49er fans, just disappeared.

I doubt that. The one thing I do have to say about their fans is they do remain loyal. Between the two Superbowls they won in the 60's & 90's there were several seasons where the Packers were piss poor or mediocre, but yet their fans stuck by them & they had sell out crowds at damn near all or all their home games.

There seems to be a lot of Packer fans in that area of the states. I've always surmised that the majority of them were bandwagoners. I remember in the early 90's how there were so damn many peole hopping on the Dallas "America's Team" Cowboys bandwagon because they were wining. (That was the team Mike Lynn helped build).

After their dynasty died out, I believe many of those same bandwagoners jumped off that wagon & hitched a ride on the Packers bandwagon.
