Re: how di joe webb injure his hamstring?
But there was the rookie quarterback, fielding the opening kickoff and returning it 30 yards against the Buffalo Bills. Then, on the Vikings' first play from scrimmage, Webb lined up at wide receiver and was a decoy for a fake reverse on Adrian Peterson's off-tackle rush.
With receivers Percy Harvin (migraine), Greg Lewis (concussion) and Hank Baskett (inactive) out, Webb looked forward to playing an expanded role in Minnesota's offense. But it was not to be.
Webb suffered a hamstring injury covering a first-quarter punt and was done for the day. It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.
