    How About Herrera?

Herrera started in place of Hicks today. I don't recall any sacks( though I was taking a shot for every Vikings score). I don't remember much pressure.
I do remember seeing Herrera putting it to a guy well away from the play, and never quitting until the whistle blew.
This looks like the lineup we need on the O-line. Time for Cook and Birk to pick up their game. McKinnie actually played well today.
Maybe we are on to something.

I have been saying all along Herrera should be starting...finally Childress figured it out. I think the reason we benched Hicks is because he was complaining about not wanting to be rotated. The o-line played great today. McKinnie had a sensational game he needs to start playing like this every week and we will definatly be on to something

I think this is a very good point.
    Hererra looked good today.
Also it appeared that it settled down the right side.
fewer penalties, nice holes, good blocking.

Was Herrera the one going up against Tommie Harris holding him to only 1 tackle?

    What a great game

    Re: How About Herrera?

I gave the OL props in my assesment, however, I will revisit it here.

Herra did a good job today and I watched him pretty close.
As a matter of fact they all played pretty good today.
Could they be bettter, yes, IMHO.

One thing that I noticed, and maybe it is because I was anticipating them to suck today, is that thier POCKET is like the smallest I've ever seen.

Is it just me and the beast or did others see that as well.
    ???

NO kidding!. [I] have been saying it all along. 64 did great today. Just as I expected. After all, I am his #1 fan. ;D Did I mention that I have his autograph? I believe that my prediction of a screen pass to #64 failed to come to fruition this week, but it will happen :P I believe that Herrera is the key to the "Vikes season, right after Peterson and Jackson, That is . YAAA! I am being kinda silly, but that game was awesome, and I AM Herrera's #1 fan! YA!!

    Re: How About Herrera?

You could also say that we won because of the good (enough) play from the o-line though
