Anybody care what Judge thinks? Well here it is. [hr]

Aug. 10, 2007
By Clark Judge
MANKATO, Minn. -- When the Minnesota Vikings passed on Brady Quinn in this year's draft the message was clear: The club believes it has a starting quarterback in Tarvaris Jackson.
Now we find out if the Vikings were right.

Re: Horns of a dilemma at QB? Vikings don't believe so.
Very nice read BB.
Words to live by my friends."Everybody in Minneapolis wants the halcyon days of Randy Moss, Cris Carter, Daunte Culpepper and Robert Smith," said Childress. "That's what they want to see; that's what we all want to see. But I think the biggest thing coming out of camp is to take inventory of who you are -- not who you necessarily want to be in the future -- but you are and what you can and cannot do."
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Can't put it in the end zone, so let's set everyone up to expect nothing (that way we can't disappoint).
Losers make excuses.
Winners find a way.
Let's see what this season brings . . .

"FIND YOUR PASSION AND MAKE IT HAPPEN!"
"SUCCESS LOOKS EASY TO THOSE THAT WEREN'T THERE WHEN IT WAS BEING ACHIEVED!"

An excellent article. I never realized the comparison between the 2000 Eagles and the 2007 Vikings. It's almost scary they mirror one another so much.

Great article.
They are the ones being paid to make the draft choices and pick who will start on gameday.
We're just here to cheer if they win and bitch when they lose.

I agree.
I have previously said the days of purple Lamborghinis and "freak" shows are gone.
Out go the Love Boats and in come team BBQs.
A Bartender at Boomtown in Mankato said he hated it when the old Vikings players used to come into town for TC. Apparently they would come in the bar and act like they owned the place.
They must not tip as good as Plummer.

Re: Horns of a dilemma at QB? Vikings don't believe so.
"I don't know how many times I told Andy (Reid) last year," said Childress, "that it felt so much like our first year in Philly where, if I'm not mistaken, (defensive coordinator Jim Johnson's) defense turned the ball over to us 46 times, and we couldn't get out of our way on offense. So I'm like, golly, this is unbelievable.
Overall, good article.
I am just not sure if I like a head coach useing the word "golly"
