What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. Its the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Sid Hartman: Bollinger deserves shot to start

The Vikings' quarterback situation certainly isn't an ideal one, but based on how he played Sunday, he should get the start next week against the Chargers.

Undoubtedly, the Vikings will set some kind of record if they start a third quarterback in as many weeks next Sunday against San Diego.........

I say Bollinger because he has impressed me thus far. In the mean time, Holcomb can sit by T.Jack and give him advice on what to do when a certain situation arises. Well, bring on the Chargers.

When there is even a thread titled, 'Holcomb or Bollinger' you have to go deep within your team loyalty genes to even take the question seriously.
