Does anyone else feel that Ryan Hoag earned a roster spot? I felt that he played well enough during the preseason to take at least Howry's spot. I realize that Howry is a supposed return specialist, but as was mentioned in an earlier post he doest impress all that much. Hoag made big plays when it really counted. 4th and 16 against the Seahawks Hoag made the catch to evntually allow them to win the game.
I rather have Hoag than Howry. Howry needs to impress me.
Yes he did, but Howry at least contributed something somebody tell me how a guy who did nothing like Kelly Campbell and is a loser during this year gets a roster spot over Hoag who work his butt off to deserve one. Tice must really like this loser for some reason to give him a spot for getting injured and contributing nothing but a loud mouth.

I'd take Hoag over Campbell and Howry anyday.. He contributed on Special teams and was a solid WR.. Did Chris Jones make the team?
Further, Hoag cannot be placed on the practice squad anymore. I guess you can only be put on that for x number of years, and he's done that.
I really hope he can get picked up somewhere.
The only WR's that made the roster were Howry and Campbell though one other guy Aaron Hosack is currently on the reserve non football injury list. I think we can put Jones on the practice squad but Hoag cannot be placed there so he is now gone.
Oh man that sucks about Hoag.. I hope he goes somewhere and has a decent career! I really liked the MN kid.. He was mr. irrelivent too so that would have been cool to see him make the team and contribute

campell is made plays in real games. remember that catch he had against dallas last year? where he had to completely stretch out? amazing play.
campbell did have a nice catch but it seems like he only has one of those a year and that doesn't help us that much, i was really impresses with hoag all offseason and i think he earned his spot
