The 'hillbilly', Brett Favre, knows his stuff
By Sean JensenContrary to his persona, Vikings quarterback Brett Favre spends a surprising amount of time studying the game he plays.

Nice read mars, this kind of work will pay big dividends down the road as he and the recievers meld with each other. Great communication will always get everyone on the same page.

This completely contradicts with what Favre himself said just last week...that he doesn't really watch much film at all.
???
Good read either way.
It sounds like he does in fact watch quite a bit of film...not sure why he lied about it the other day.

;D
Anway, it was a good read, especially considering the source.
Kindof funny though when you think about it, what with all the chuckle heads on here who said that film study wasn't important when we were talking about TJ doing alot of it.

There ain't a hill within a hundred miles of where Favre grew up.

Favre didn't say he watched alot of film in the article.
Infact his statement was ""It's about quality, as opposed to quantity."
It was everyone else that said Favre watched alot of film.
Obviously, Favre has a different work ethic and what's alot to some isn't much to him.

I said "this contradicts" meaning the article, which is in fact true.

I still don't understand how the entire team can go on and on about how he watches all this film, yet Favre says he doesn't watch much at all.
Who is right?
Not that it really matters much but still seems odd that completely contradicting statements come out in the same week.
