Re: Hilariously Gross Brett Favre News To Surface Soon

Infidel, Wake up. This is a land of religious freedom. What you refer to as "fundagelical freaks" have just as much right to practice their religion as you do.
    ILLvike, wake up.

This is a land of religious freedom. That means we have a Constitutional Right to be free from people attempting to impose their bizarre religion on the rest of us.

So practice your damned religion, just don't bother the rest of us with it. It's obnoxious and offensive. Keep it to yourself.

Also, FARVE ADMITTED HE DID WRONG! He attempted to cheat on his wife....
    Wrong.

He admitted to sending some flirty text messages. Normal men and women who are friends do that all the time. It doesn't necessarily mean anything except humor.

It only became a problem when a friend turned out to be NOT a friend, but instead an money-hungry and opportunistic liar.

    MARRIAGE is a SACRED vow.
    Sacred cow, maybe......for you anyway.

As for normal people......more and more don't even bother with marriage anymore and of those that do, more than half get divorced and many get divorced several times.

You're living in a dream world.....but the worst thing about Pharisees like you is that you attempt to impose your silly rules on the rest of us. You're nuts and you want everybody else to have to obey your nutty religion.

A few flirty text messages? HA! I have to laugh.

Try to get in touch with the real world and stop trying to force your puritanical standards on normal people......people who aren't perfect like you.

It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.

Re: Hilariously Gross Brett Favre News To Surface Soon

Morality is a highly subjective issue. Everyone has his or her own moral code. They either live by it, or they don't.

Knowingly breaking your own moral code is the definition of "wrong." Others can't legislate it for you. You and you alone determine if your actions are "wrong."

Illegal is a different matter. So is unethical, and so is criminal. These things can be legislated.

Technically, one cannot commit a "crime" against another person. Crimes are violations of law against the state. Personal violations are "torts."

But none of that justifies the NFL's "Personal Conduct Policy," which is what Favre is being investigated under. It is not a criminal matter, or it would be handled by the authorities, i.e. police. The NFL is trying to legislate and enforce morality.

They are trying to do the same thing that some people here are doing.

Brett Favre has admitted that he believes he did wrong. He broke his own moral code, and regrets it. That's the plain and simple truth. If he believes he did wrong, then he did.

That's all I have to say on the matter.

My Meeple is purple. What color is yours?

    Good.

    You're wrong.

Favre did NOT admit he did wrong.
