Vikings owner Zygi Wilf was in Minnesota to watch the team's first minicamp under new coach Brad Childress. I caught up with Wilf to ask what he thought of House legislators voting to support a new stadium for the University of Minnesota. His reply:

"It's important for the Gophers football team to have their stadium on campus. It will enrich campus life. I hope that it will turn the focus of attention to the Vikings' and Twins' stadium proposals."

I also asked Wilf if season-ticket holders would be made to purchase personal seat licenses at the new stadium he wants to build in Blaine. He said he hadn't decided.

I expect PSLs. Most of the new stadiums have them, and even some of the older ones. Yeah, it makes them more expensive, but it won't deter me from renewing mine.

nevermind I looked it up, what a ripoff.

oh well, I guess if people are willing to pay them they will charge them

I hope they don't do that, does anyone know if that means that there will be a long waiting list like the packers where you can't get season tickets for 50 years???
