Contrary to the opinions of the Chicken Littles on the site the season is not over.
The team could still come together.
Five of the six losses were by an average of < 5 pts.
One fucking score.
The hat doesn't get thrown in until mathematical elimination, that is how the game is played.


The NFC is a cess pool this year and the Wildcard slots are up for grabs.

I cannot believe the number of people calling it a season when the Vikings are in the hunt.
The team is obviously not where we want them to be right now, but they are not as far off as some believe.
The playoffs start tomorrow.
If the team can become marginally better on O and hold the course on D they can make the season fun to watch again.

Good call. We're certainly on the outside looking in, but with some help we could still make it. I think we have to win out and go 10-6, but I think that will be good enough to get in.

I agree that staying positive is good.
I know I've even started to get a little negative towards the Vikes and I usually always stay positive.
It's been frustrating lately.
I don't know about the Superbowl but I'd really like to see them win their next few, maybe even a win out, but we'll see.

In order to be a true fan, you need to believe in your team and be optimistic. But, you also have to have some pride in yourself as a fan and hold the team responsible when mistakes are made.
Problems have been occuring since the draft. We all know the issues we had that day. (good first two picks, but the cook atrocity and the unwillingness to trade for a top flight QB were problematic. How nice would Cutler be looking in purple right now? We could have, and should have traded for him)
Yes Jackson MIGHT work out. Yes, we MIGHT make the playoffs. We MIGHT get the offense into some kind of rhythem this year and things will pan out. Based on what I've seen, I doubt it.
I hope Childress grows as a coach next year. From the draft, to the Baskett deal, to the unit desguised as the offence, there are many things to work on. I think Childress knows this, and thats a good thing. With no WRs, QB, and injury problems, there is only so much he can do.
Sorry for rambling. But it is not ok to be a homer. Get pissed at this team. There are lots of things to be pissed about. But then again, next year we might win the superbowl. Go Vikes!

There are hundred of threads about people getting pissed at this team and all kinds of analysis.
This is not about being a homer, it's about giving the perpetual whiners, they know who they are, a wake-up call.
For reasons stated in other threads I still have hope, but I'm not blindly optimistic.

I'm sorry, but listening to name calling homers gets just as old listening to whiners.
All the post I've read from you lately are negative to other members on this site.
