    Absolutely a joke.

    Your kidding right?
None of these kids will get drafted, I think it was a joke that they even declared themselves for the draft.

    hey...

I sure hope no teams do something stupid and draft one of these kids. I think it would be a big mistake! They are just way to young to go pro in the NFL.

    hey...

for one high school kids do not have the talent for the nfl, and they would end up on the injured list after their first game, it would be a shame to the league if anyone drafts these guys

    hey...

These highschool kids must be looking for death. There is no way a team would waste a pick on them.

    hey...

    :director:

    Check it out:

Do they have a chance of being selected? We'll list them and let you be the judge:

JOE BANKS, RB • School: New Directions Academy High

    • Hometown: Baltimore

    • Comment: New Directions Academy is a school for developmentally disabled children. It doesn't have a football team.

    JOHN BELISLE, QB

    • School: Capac Community High

    • Hometown: Capac Mich.

    • Comment: Belisle was a fourth-string quarterback who never took a snap in a game at Capac. He also had an unsuccessful audition on "American Idol."

    EARL FIELDS, DT

    • School: Appling County High

    • Hometown: Baxley, Ga.

    • Comment: Fields dropped out of high school.

    JOHN LEE, WR

    • School: Gates High

    • Hometown: Tacoma, Wash.

    • Comment: Gates High is an alternative school. It doesn't have a football team.

    ETHAN MITCHELL, RB

    • School: Flowers High

    • Hometown: Springfield, Md.

    • Comment: No college teams were interested in Mitchell. Zip.

    KEN PETITT, OT

    • School: Redford High

    • Hometown: Detroit

    • Comment: See Mitchell.

    RONNIE McCRAE, DB

    • School: Pasadena City College

    • Hometown: Pasadena, Calif.

    • Comment: McCrae played one season for PCC and had no interceptions on an 0-10 team. He showed up uninvited at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis and ran for scouts who had no idea who he was. He wore jeans and a T-shirt during his workout.

    hey...

Physically it's a lot easier to make the transition in the other 3 sports (hockey, basketball, and baseball). But to come into the NFL straight out of high school is pushing it big time. It's a shame. At least before, kids had to stick around college for a couple years, get some education (though most likely basket-weaving classes), but at least they would gain a little maturity and most importantly add size and skill. If anyone makes it, I hope he gets crushed as an example.
