I don't see you having any problem with Atlanta, especially in your own dome. This will be a killer game!!!

Even though you are being realistic, I think it a mistake to completely give up on your boys just yet.
History shows stranger things have happened!
I did root for the Bears vs. Colts in the SB and (forgive me PPO) the Pack when they beat the Pats in the SB.
I hate the Pats and watched that one with a house full of Pats fans!
BTW, watched last three qtrs. + OT of Saints-Bears
game.
Many really stupid coaching decisions on both sides.
The fake punt was bad, but running a play with 7 secs. left well within FG range took the cake!!!
Very lucky Orton got tackled when he did!

Peterson is THE REAL DEAL man! He will easily be amongst the ranks of Payton, Emmit, Barry....etc.

I'm hoping the same for our Matt Forte also.

If AD plays as long as Payton does, he would have very comparable, if not better stats.
Paytons ypc average was 4.4, Peterson's is 5.2.

An average season for Payton is 14.6 games, 1286 yards, 8.5 rTD,
349 pYDS 9.2 avg and 1.15 pTD
An average season for Peterson is 14 games, 1461 yards, 10.5rTD,
188 pYDS 9.9 avg and .5 pTD

If Peterson had the same carries/catches in his career that Payton got, his career totals would look like:

attempts: 3838 carries,
19,958 yards, 137 rTD,
4870 pYDS, 7pTD
(#4 all time for td's, one behind
Marcus Allen, #1 alltime rushing yardage, 1603 more than Emmitt Smith)

If peterson keeps up his same production for 13 seasons (same as payton) he'll end up with
18993 yds, 137 rTD's 2444pYDS, 7pTD
Which still puts him at #4 all time for TD's, and still #1 alltime for rushing yards (600 more than Smith)
