Having Brad play may help Daunte.
I say this because look at what Brad is doing. He's not trying to win the game all by himself. The emphasis is on the run, and then the pass. Do you think Daunte is learning something from the play of Brad? When he comes back do you believe Daunte will stay in the pocket and let the game come to him?

Re: Having Brad play may help Daunte.
I can only hope that Daunte can learn from Brad's managing of the game...imagine Brad's football mind implanted in Daunte's body...it could happen if Daunte takes his lessons to heart!!!

Re: Having Brad play may help Daunte.
He could be such a great QB if he had the mentality of Johnson. His cannon arm, his ability to escape the blitz WHEN needed, or just take the small play and depend on your defense to get you the ball back.

Re: Having Brad play may help Daunte.
yah, Brad let's his teammates make the plays for him, seems like Pep tries to make a great play and sometimes forces something. if pep learns anything from Brad i hope it's reading the defense as quickly as Brad does and just managing the game.

Thanks Josdin

Re: Having Brad play may help Daunte.
I hope the rest of the team learns how to make plays while Brad is in rather than sitting and waiting for Daunte to do something special. One thing I dolike though is the mentality of the offense. Run the ball, eat up time, limit mistakes, keep the Defense fresh. I think Daunte would thrive in such an offense.

Re: Having Brad play may help Daunte.
Well, lets give Brad what Dante was facing at the first of the year. Then we can talk about it. Yes, he can read coverages, so can Dante. But the line as sad as it is now, was making a very mobile quarterback, who woulda been MVP had Manning not had his steller year, last year look bad. No running game to take the heat off. BJ is great, make no mistake. But our line play the first four or five games was HORRIBLE, not bad. Cpep does press, but, man, what do you do?

Re: Having Brad play may help Daunte.
but come on, we all know brad wouldn't have 8 INTs in what was it, 2 or 4 games? Most of Dauntes turnovers lead to short fields for other teams.
