Harvin, Peterson miss practice for Vikings
Harvin, Peterson miss practice for Vikings
Percy Harvin missed another day of practice with an ankle that he says was sprained in three places. It casts real doubt on his ability to play Sunday against the Lions. Also absent from practice was running back Adrian Peterson, who has an illness.
This doesn't look to promising for Sunday

Neither is surprising. Peterson will be a go, if not for an illness his ankle might be iffy/sore for the rest of this season. And as bad as Harvin's sprain appeared to be, they won't be in any hurry to test that ankle for "practice". Although I've always suspected they'd sit Harvin this week and give him this week and next (during the bye) for that ankle to heal up. Someone is going to have to step up at WR this week.

Harvin is officially doutful for Sunday
Vikings receiver Percy Harvin says he sprained his ankle in three places on Sunday. He has since missed three practices.
According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Harvin is officially doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Lions.
No opening kick return for a TD and leading receiver out really need someone else to step it up aside from Peterson
