That article starts out making it sound like Smith is underperforming because he started OTAs on second team, which is a stupid angle to take. Give him some time to learn the system, and I am 99% sure he will be a starter in week 1.

Exactly. He needs to know the system and settle in. As a matter of fact after our horrible safety play as of late I would consider him a big mistake if he doesn't start week one.
