Gus under center, with Peterson and Jackson in the backfield?

Two Qb's on the field works great for the Longhorns. What if they tried it in the NFl?
Just think of the options it would open up.

    No.
This in the NFL and is a much faster game than college.
If anything we put CT and AD in there.
TJ is not a RB and would get bent in half and be more prone to fumbling the ball.

This is a great idea for the anti-Tarvaris crowd. There is no faster way to assure a career-ending injury then roll two QBs out there.

I'm still a proponent of having a mobile QB(Vick like minus the dogs) on the field and throw in some trick direct snap and running plays.
    Just me though.

What would the defense think..... A veteran pocket qb and a mobile threat with a strong arm, and all the while having the rookie of the year just hanging out back there. I never like the 2 qb setup until watching Texas this fall, Chiles and McCoy, would be just like Gus and TJack.

So, Gus gives it to TJ and then what?
The Defense sure is not scared if he is going to throw it.
They just end up beating the shit outta him, take the ball and tack on 6 points.

You can do this in college more than the NFL.
That's why you rarely see 2 QB's on the field at once.
I believe S. Wallace and the Seahawks would have 2 QB's in at once a few times.

We need to work on playing offense with what we have; and that does not appear to be with TJ in there,

This sounds crazy and most people will say that this is a college BS play and would never work in the NFL but im pretty sure i heard the same stuff about the wildcat offense and just ask the Patriots how they feel about that?? I wouldnt suggest do it alot but i think it could throw some people off balance

People love to say, "It would never work in the NFL" but they don't know because they've never seen it, and we just don't know if it would work not... but they like to act like 'know-it-all's'

People probably would have also said that lining Chad Pennington up at WR and direct snapping it to Ronnie Brown would never work... but it did.

People said Steve Smith was too small to be a WR in the NFL... but they were wrong.

People said Bob Sanders was too small to play Safety in the NFL... but they were wrong.

It would be interesting to at least try. I mean, we might lose... but we're doing that already.
