Vikings | Team expected to play preseason game against Oakland

Kevin Seifert, of the Star Tribune, reports a tentative preseason schedule calls for the Minnesota Vikings to play host to the Oakland Raiders in a game televised nationally on ESPN. The game would mark the return of WR Randy Moss to the Metrodome.

ha! You think Randy would come back to the dome and get shut down? I love Winfield but lets get real here. The only way he gets shut down is because its preseason and he only sees maybe one ball.

Sorry, but I'd be cheering for Randy. I still view him as one of ours..., at least for a pre-season game.

Come to think of it, I remember a game when Moss was still a Viking, he caught the ball one handed for a TD against the Bills.

And I'm pretty sure it was Antoine Winfield who was covering him.

Thats fair. But if thats the case nobody should talk as if Winny shut him down. It would just be a matter of circumstance. I am not knocking Winfield either. He's one of my favorites. Also, this is a wierd conversation because its a lot of ifs

The ONLY people who can shut down Randy Moss are Randy Moss, his QB, and his OC...that's it, that's all, end of story.

That said, Winfield may knock the stuffing out of him - after the catch.
