Why? He played 8 seasons with the Vikings, 3 with the Browns, and 2 with the Cardinals.

Those Vikings years were his best, too.
One of the more underrated hard hitters out there in the last decade or so, as well.

Awesome, he's the type of player I hope our new guy Johnson turns out to be.
Based on his scouting reports, it seems like they have the same style of play.

Griffith got his start with the Vikings in 1994 and played with the team until 2001. He signed as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State but went on to become a Pro Bowl selection after the 1999 season.

One of my favorite players while he was here. I thought he had retired a couple of years back but am glad he was able to retire as a Viking.
