By the time his career is done Winfield will have played more years with us than with the Bills.

    Dudes and dudettes..
    That's freakin' AWESOME.

I've always loved Robert Griffith, and to know he wanted to retire as a Viking just raised his stock in my eyes.

Congrats and happy retirement Mr. Griffith!

Out of them all, I hope Birk will retire a Viking.
That guy has been around a long time, and has been a top 3 center in the league almost the whole time.
I just hope that when his contract is up he doesn't demand a pay raise or anything like that.

He was a great player for the Vikes. Thanks for the memories Robert.

Touch of class IMHO that he not only wanted to do this, but that the Ownership group was willing to do this.

Have I mentioned lately, how much I like this new ownership group?

Fair winds and following seas Robert.

Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Good to see him retire a Viking.
He had some good years for us and I like the way he came up to the line and wasn't afraid to stick his head into a pile of shit.
He played much bigger than his size.

Why are you suprised? The Vikings gave him a chance and that's probably the main reason he retired a Viking

    Griff was awesome.
Wasn't he the cat that blew up Emmitt Smith?
    Put him out cold?
