Thread: griffin and smoot both out

I cant believe im saying this, but I think smoot has improved alot since being nickle back. And hes kept his mouth shut all year. We are going to need alot of CBs next year, cause other teams will continue to spread the field on us.

If he resturctures I would love to keep him on as a Nickle back.

Smoot definitely stepped up his game after he was demoted.
but I still don't see him agreeing to restructure with the Vikings.
I think he is trade material this offseason.

I guess it doesn't really matter having them both out for the last game of the season.. It would have mattered if we were fighting for a playoff spot, but were not, so it doesn't matter..

Looks like this game is going to be a tryout for alot of the practice squad players, and rookies.. That is fine with me.. We most likely would have gotten lit up anyways regardless of who we had in there.. We are no doubt going to get a heavy dose of Marc Bulger and their talented WR crew..

I do agree with the people that said Smoot stepped it up this season, especially after being reduced to the nickel role.. If he does do a restructure, then I say keep him as our nickelback.. If not, its so long Smooooot..
