Griffin will have a rude awakening when the regular season rolls around if he thinks the level of play between the NFL and NCAA is the same.

Kare11.com reports Minnesota Vikings CB Cedric Griffin does not see much difference going from a national championship team at Texas to the NFL. Giffin said, "At Texas we played against a whole bunch of elite athletes and in the NFL, all the great athletes come together so right now the game speed is all the same."

I understand what you guys are saying, but he did play at Texas, who is always playing hard and playing fast!! I know he doesn't see a difference now, but he will, but it won't be as a dramatic change to him as it will be for Ryan Cook, or Tarvaris Jackson!!!

He cannot tell anything right now. It is only minicamp. Wait until Summer Camp and then the Pre season games come. He will be taking his words back, gauranteed.

Maybe he is just a natural athlete and the speed is actually close enough for him to compete at a high level right off the bat? Chances are it's not the case but wishful thinking..
