Greenway status?

I doubt he could have come back mid-season. He tore his ACL in the middle of August, which would have only given him 3-4 months to recover from the surgery and rehab the knee. That's REALLY quick for that injury. It usually takes about a year to get back to full strength.

Plus, Greenway is an OLB not a MLB.

It will be great watching him and Leber tearing up the field.....they should be a great combo for our D.

as ne 1 notice that we got nothin for the randy moss trade besides a fast ball droppin loser??/ cause
N. Harris isnt startin next year!!!

Yep ... and we have talked and talked and talked about it ... and would prefer the Greenway thread stay about Greenway.

I think he will be a great fit and hopefully bring a little more speed to our LB corps next season. I think he, Leber and EJ can actually bring some stability to a spot that has been spotty for years ... our defense should only get better.

First, don't hijack this into a Moss thread.
We have pleanty of them already.

This thread was about Greenway and his injury status - not about Harris and Moss.
but for the record, I agree with you, I don't think Harris will even be wearing a Vikings uniform next year.

Second, spell out your words.
"ne 1" instead of "anyone" may be appropriate when text messaging your friends, but it makes your posts hard to read.
An exception to this rule is when referring to players.
TJack and PhatPat are pretty common nicknames, among others.

Chad sounds great when he is on KFAN and says he's ready to rock.

He should help the secondary but more importantly IMO is Erasmus James and how he
comes back and performs. That in addition to who we pick up as a rushing DE in the draft or free agency. The DE's will really help the secondary.
