I'm really excited to see Greenway in the mix next year.
I really think he's going to make a dent in the league and rumor has it he is a quick learner and has been studying hard.

    Re: Greenway status?

I have heard several rumors saying he could have came back in the middle of the season but since he is a rookie.

It would be hard for a rookie MLB to be thrown in the fire.

So they decided that he would study his first year like a Rookie QB only for an MLB.

    What do you think?

They put him on the IR, ergo his season was over as soon as that happened.

Right they did and that was one of the deciding factors that he could of been back aorund week 10 but why have him back in week 10.
    Just wait until next year...

    It makes sense.

    Re: Greenway status?

Greenway wasn't starting at MLB this year anyway.
He was backup at Weak, and played on special teams.

I don't think that he could have returned at at week 10 anyway.
That would have been mid November, and as of Jan 2 he still wasn't 100%.

Currently running straight ahead at 85 to 90 percent speed, Greenway has begun taking part in individual skill drills specific to his position. He also has been doing squats in the weight room and hopes to soon discard the brace he's been wearing.
I am looking forward to his return next year.
I sure looked silly wearing my Greenway jersey to every game this year...

    Re: Greenway status?

I am a glass half full kind of guy, but I am going to take a new approach this time.
I am going to consider him a bust until he actually plays a down.
With our luck, he will fall in the shower in the last practice before the 1st game of next season and be put on IR again.

No but seriously, he seems injury prone.
He had the knee injury at Iowa, and now with us.
I hope his injury days are behind him.
