He has yet to play in a regular season game for the Minnesota Vikings but former Iowa standout Chad Greenway says he does not feel like a rookie as he prepares for the start of training camp.....

Re: Greenway ready to play for Vikings
He's gonna be farther along and ready to go. Chad will show why he was a first round pick.

Some of the pundits have forgotten about Greenway.

Re: Greenway ready to play for Vikings
I talk a bunch of Rahhhh Rahhhh crap on here about being positive about this young team, but seriously its guys like this that almost have me convinced that this year is gonna be more fun than not to watch.
Not sure my ticker can take another year of close games though.
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Re: Greenway ready to play for Vikings
The only question I have about our defense is depth. We look a bit thin at CB in particular. Otherwise I'm just loving all thestarters. I have full confidence in Udeze and James, and I doubt Edwards will have a sophmore slump. Griffin is the biggest question mark on the entrire defensive side. I hope we move Smith to nickle and start Mike Doss.
It will be interesting to see if Greenway is an immediate improvement of Napo."I hate when threads are destroyed by facts and logic."

Re: Greenway ready to play for Vikings
The mental state of a player is a huge factor in their success.. If a player is as smart as he is good, they will have no problems.. He took it upon himself to learn the defense even though he couldn't practice it.. He did the classroom work, and watched guys perform the plays.. When it is his time coming up, I am sure he will be have no problems this year..

That's 2 major knee surgeries in the past 5 years.
I'm excited to see what he can do, but I'm going to be cautious until he gets through some contact.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!
