MANKATO — Count linebacker Chad Greenway among the most excited players to be on the field when the Minnesota Vikings began training camp Friday morning....

Chad is going to be our Derrick Brooks. We will be strong against the run, and with the help DC Frazier we are gonna be much improved against the pass. It's good to see emotion on this young team. It really gets me "pumped".

I am so stoked to get this guy in there. He knows he has a great deal to prove and has maintained a fantastic attitude the whole time he's been gone. Every interveiw I've read or heard was alawys positve, and you can tell by his body language
he's dyin' for that first hit! Chad is the man!

With all I've heard, Chad Greenway, will be much like our Brian Urlacher.
Or better yet...........The second coming of our own "Blood & Guts"

I am pumped that Greenway is pumped for this year.. I was extremely pissed off when he had that season ending injury last year.. We all were robbed of seeing this guy play.. He will no doubt be a great player for the Vikings..

He should be pumped.
He's finally going to get his chance to prove his worth to the fans and to a team who could use his talents at the LB position.

I just hope he used his down time (which there was much of,) to digest the playbook, learn the schemes, and watch as much video as he could.

This young man is going to be fun to watch

This is a guy we sorely need to work out.
Losing him last season was a hard pill to swallow.
I hope he can turn it on for us this season.

I was just thinking about that earlier today...I wonder how long (if ever) it will be before he gets a shot at the middle.
