Pretty much the same kind of things we were reading when Culpepper was healing.Sounds like he is pushing pretty hard to get back on the field. When doctors said he'll be able to walk on crutches in 10 days, he did it in five. When they said it would be three to four months before he received a knee brace and began doing linebacker drills, his knee was ready in two.
Let's just hope he doesn't rush it like Daunte did & try & get back on the field too soon.

Re: Greenway, a painful waiting game.
That was a great read.. He has the right additude and mentality with this injury.. He is young, and many of athletes have come back just fine after ACL surgery.. We have to remember 1 thing, he tore his ACL, not his ACL, MCL, and PCL like Culpepper did.. He will be just fine.. It is also nice to see that he is close friends with Ben Leber, I can already see those guys feeding off of each other.. Kinda hard to imagine Leber better then he has been for us this season, but I am very much looking forward to it..

Side note: His wife is pretty hot.
:P
Anyway...I feel so bad for guys with injuries like this, espcially when they're Vikings. Hopefully he comes back 100% next year and makes an impact. It would be a shame to waste a 1st round pick and a good guy like Greenway because of a stupid wedge buster.

Yeah Greenway and Hodge are two of the biggest reasons that I am a Hawkeye fan.Living in Iowa ive seen and heard a lot about Greenway. Im an ISU fan not a hawk fan and this guy always had my respect. He will work to get back to the condition he was in and then he will work to get better just who he is.
In college the guy was everywhere in on every tackle. personally the best LB I have ever gotten to see play in person at the college level.
I really think he will be a great NFL LB, he just has a nose for the ball.
Next year he WILL make a D that much betterThanks for the sig Pack93z

I love when you take breaks from plucking your unibrow and grunting/slapping to makes posts in this forum

Re: Greenway, a painful waiting game.
i like this kids attitude..
he's all for being better then he was, he's got a low key personality, and he's gonna want to get out and hurt people.
what more could u ask for?
urlamer who?
Greenway will be the next glowing star on D!!

one thing in his favour is that he's doing his rehab in conjunction with the Vikes.. which always seems a good idea"NodakPaul" wrote:

Also he's working to get onto the team as opposed to rehabbing with a view to be moving off elsewhereTime spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...
