    The Great Peterson

The fumbling problem is so obvious, and he appears to be remembering to concentrate on it.....

But other than that, what are Peterson's weaknesses?

I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

    Re: The Great Peterson

That old thread doesn't address my question.

It deals with trading Peterson (appears to be a joke) and ends up talking about Chester Taylor.

Thanks anyway.....but I'd rather discuss Peterson's current weaknesses (if he has any).

I think there was discussion once on how he tends to take off with the ball too soon before allowing his blockers a chance to open a hole for him, but other than that hes playing really well this year so far. Until Favre polishes his passing game, Im sure hell get quite a few carries in the next game so well see if he can keep it up with no fumbling.

Adrian Peterson has no weaknesses. He eats kryptonite, drinks sulphuric acid, gargles with razor blades, pisses gasoline, and craps uranium.

At least that's what I've heard...

    Re: The Great Peterson

Texas mentions a mental weakness (patience).

    ND mentions NO weakness.

    Both interesting views.

How about breaking it down into two categories:

Mental weaknesses ..... and physical weaknesses.

First off, I don't think he has any physical weaknesses--he appears to have every attribute it takes for the hall of fame.

But I'm less sure about the mental aspects.....

Yeah, those mental aspects are sure there, I agree.

    But how about Peterson?

He is human I guess. With that understanding I just accept that he isn't perfect.

My take is he needs to be better in blocking, screen passes and probably continue to work on letting the play develop before he blasts the hole, although I do feel he has certainly improved those areas to some degree already.
