Grant family legacy of great football marches on

High School powerhouse Eden Prairie wins another championship.
Why is this relevant on a Vikings board you ask?
The head coach is Bud Grant's son and the QB is Bud's grandson.
    Not bad.

Nice, i actually didn't know that his son coached there.

But this thread will probably be moved to the Clubhouse if i had to guess, since its about a high school team not the vikings

Mike Grant coaches a perennial powerhouse in Eden Prairie.
He is not interested in College or NFL coaching which I think is sad, look at the great father/son legacies like Bum & Wade Phillips, Jim/Jim Jr Mora ect.

I would love to see the Vikings be able to hire Grant as an assistant to see how he handles NFL players and who knows, maybe someday????

Mike has already coached at the College level. And coached under the arguably the greatest coach in all of college football John Gagliardi. I played at St. Johns when Mike Coached there. Alot of his phiosphies stem from when mike played ta St. Johns under Gagliardi and when he coached there.
