Goodspeed Done for the Season

Kevin Seifert, of the Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings FB Joey Goodspeed (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee Saturday afternoon, May 13, and almost certainly won't be available to play this season. Head coach Brad Childress said only that Goodspeed "hurt his knee," but a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed the diagnosis.

Well, that sucks he never even got to finish minicamp...and already the guy is out for the season, I can't imagine how that feels.

So we are down one at FB already that is too bad that the guy doesn't even make it to training camp. I want to wish him nothing but the best as he rehabs and gets ready for next year.

Even in the WCO we dont need that many FB. We do have Richardson from KC who would have been the starter anyway. We could always slide Kleinsasser back if we had to. We also singed a Undrafted FA I thought.

Wasnt he another Foley pickup from SD.

WTF are you talking about? Have you watched the Chiefs the last couple of seasons? If not break out and watch some film before you open your big mouth! Richardson is a Pro-bowler who helped pave the way for Holmes and Larry Johnson and one of the leagues best offenses. Get a clue man!

I was going to touch that one but assumed it was sarcasm. Since a couple of you have bit, I must say that if he was serious (which I highly doubt) it was one of the dumbest posts ever, I mean ever on this site.
