Mired in a three-game losing streak and sitting 1-3 at the bye, these are trying times for the Vikings and coach Brad Childress, but there's still time to turn things around...........

I looked back and in all but one game we passed more than we ran.
    game 1. 23 passes to 22 rushes
game 2. 37 passes and only 26 rushes
game 3. equal at 29 apiece
    game 4. 39 passes to 20 rushes

what im sayin is that our rushing game is lethal. our passing game is the equivalent to laughing gas, its just plain ridiculous. we need a max of 20 passes a game to about 35-40 rushes a game. we have 2 awesome RB's in AP and Chester, and a solid man in MeMo. with 3 backs we can easily get 35-40 runs a game and not wear anyone out. we dont run we dont score on offense bottom line. and if we have to pass do a screen or a short-medium slant, nothing deep cuz Holcomb cant throw the deep ball to save his mother.
This is the Childress version of the West Coast offense.
Bill Walsh would be embarrassed to see the Brad Childress offense.
    It is not West Coast.
I say we call it the landfill offense.
It should be thrown in the dump.
    LOL sad but true.

Brad Childress does not run a west coast offense.
I also don't want to see AP get burned out.

Childress running a west coast offense is saying the USSR were true communist.

What do you recommend that he does to fix it?
    What adjustments would you make?
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

"We're not telling the coaches anything they probably haven't figured out already, but Rice has earned more playing time."

If he is not not the field more during the Bears game, I am going to disagree with this qoute.

Re: Good time for a break: Vikings try to fix what's broken

Here are the things I would change:

    a. Stop this complex "west coast B.S.". Just pound the pill. Run Adrian Peterson off tackle (behind Hutchinson) 25 times a game.

    b. When the opposing safeties come up into the box, use play action to throw the ball to the receiver (Rice, Wade), who now is in single coverage, or wide open.

    c. Game plan better. There is no excuse to blitz Favre and let him hit the receiver in the slant route. Any Viking fan knows you don't do that. Get some coaches in here who know the opponent and how to game plan !!
    :

    d. Get a QB. I am sick of this pathetic, ridiculous situation at QB and all Chilly's ridiculous excuses for how lame we are at this position.

    e. If Chilly loses two more games in a row, fire him !

    I am 44 years old--will be 45 in a month.
When--for the love of GOD when-will the Vikings man up.
When will someone take charge, when will they stop jumping off sides or holding on 3rd down?
All I see is fear in their eyes.
    I'm tired of the medicority.
I'd call each of them a loser to their faces--without fear.
I can't stand it for much longer---I may become a Bears fan.

If there are any Vikings reading this----none of you are men at all.
I'm a nurse and take care of sick people who show more guts then you guys.
You get paid millions to play-suck it up butter cups--play some ball.

    A ticked off fan
