We are a nats nut away from a break-out game. We will hit those missed opportunities that have painfully been eluding us. When teams cover one on one, you've got to trust your guy to make a play, and when they are wide-open....... you just can't miss. Continue to pound it with CT, and AD, and good things will happen.... eventually. I think we are a
little further away then that. A half decent QB, problems on the O line, and coaching are someof things needing to be addressed. I'll settle for just fixing the QB problem for now.

Simple...throw to Rice more often...and give the ball to Peterson! Limit turnovers...and score TDs instead of FGs!!!
Wade has made plays too! Add him to that list.

Re: Good time for a break: Vikings try to fix what's broken

Here is my list of things to do, for the Vikings:

    - Stop with the complex "west coast offense", all this "let's throw the ball 4 yards and execute complex blocking schemes and pretend we are the Eagles" crud, and just run Peterson off-tackle 25 times a game. (are you telling me we bring in Steve Hutchinson and pay him like a bazillion dollars a year, and then get the best Big-12 runner maybe since Barry Sanders or Earl Campbell, and we can't run off-tackle ???
    :

    - Get a QB. Someone call up Jake Plummer and just pay him what he wants. We need a QB !! Hello ! The Raiders' 3rd string QB is better than our starter.

    - Get coaches who can game-plan. You play Brett Favre and you blitz him ?

The coaches I think are making this game too complicated. Stop with all the zone blocking and the 5-yard throws. Just run the gol 'darnit ball. AP is averaging like 9.5 yards a carry. How obvious can it be. THEN, when the safeties come up to support the 'box', throw the ball to Rice.

It is time to email this clip to Chilly.
    Anyone have his email?

I saw this right after we drafted him.
It really got me pumped up.
When he made that catch on Sunday this video ran through my mind.

I can't wait for the rest of the season after watching this.

To put it into perspective, there were some great videos of T-Will when he was in college that were posted here as well.

BTW, who was the QB in the video?

TWill never had 13 TDs in a season though...and, was much more widely viewed as a "project" coming out due somewhat to the former coaches run first offense there.
Spurrier is a whole different deal

Rice looks real good in that video!
Kid's got leap, hands, and heart!!
Loved him reaching for the post on that one TD!

    Yup!
    More Peterson!
    More Rice, Wade and Shank!!
More shotgun would probably help too...anyone notice how far back Favre was starting?
I heard/read somewhere they had to do that since their OLine wasn't working so well at first either.

On top of an extra week to prepare, CHI and GB will probably beat the crap out of each other this Sunday night ;D

If a team with a good defense & Rex Grossman as their QB can make it to the Superbowl, then there's hope we can turn this team around and salvage a season.

Lovie is smart enough that when he finds something that is working during the game he is going to continue to use it.
It is evident that the same thing cannot be said about Childress.

i know chillie is the problem. AP was a beast in the first half against the pack, he shredded them and he only got 2 carries in the second half. thats just ridiculous i mean are the minny coaches deaf, blind, or stupid? im guessing its a lethal combination of all 3
