Everyone knows that the refineries played a part in it.
I live right on the border of WI & MN. Both states buy from the same refineries & you'd expect both states to go up the same, yet I watched MN go from $0.15 cheaper than WI, to $0.40 more than WI. That's a difference of a $0.55 per gallon more that MN raised their prices than WI did. That's not due to refineries only.
Yeah but it had nothing to do with taxes as you eluded to.
