I'd rather they lose anyway to get better draft choices.
Time to start thinking about 2007.

There are no guarantees in the draft & there are other ways to get players such as FA & trading to move up.
If you seriously want the Vikings to lose, why do you want them to start T-Jack?
I think you'd want them to start BJ if that is your wish.

Re: Give Me 6 and 10
I know how you feel. You are wanting us to have a better start from building for next year and I do too. BUT when the game starts I will never cheer for the other team. Do I want us to beat Green Bay??? HELL yeah. Do I want to beat St. Louis??? Hell yeah!!!! 8-8 will not get us in the playoffs im sure
and 6-10 would be better for our fututre (maybe) but I dont care I want to win!

Re: Give Me 6 and 10
I always want the Vikings to win.
No matter what.
However, I'm also intrigued when they have a high spot in the draft.
Think about it, it's been a while since the Vikes have "earned" a top ten draft pick.
If we go 6-10, and end up in the top ten or so, I hope the TOA drafts intelligently...

When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: Give Me 6 and 10
Seriously. Don't worry about the draft guys.
Studwell will find us some talent wherever we end up.
Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Re: Give Me 6 and 10
Winning these last two games, and carrying some momentum into the offseason will do more for this team next year than picking a few spots higher (which, of course doesn't guarantee anything).

I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.

Absolutely, 100%.
On a short week, on the road, in front of the national spotlight, division opponent - the best chance is with the veteran.
However, winning is secondary, at this point, to learning about the future.
Thus - play Tarvaris.
Play Jason Carter.
Play Ray Edwards all game.
Play Greg Blue.

Greenway Was a horrible pick. His knees Looked weak to begin with!
*Runs out of thread*
You went up to Greenway before the draft and told him you wanted to look at his knees?
Did he punch you in the head and you are still recovering?
After he punched you in the head you looked at his knees and said this guy has weak knees!
Is that how it went?
Give me a frickin break!
Greenway was the best choice and anybody that says they knew he was going to have knee problems is full of sh*t!
He had twice as many tackles in his last year and in his whole college career as Ernie Sims, and he was a special teams demon and the Vikes took the best player that was available and injuries happen and you have to live with them. What we've got here is failure to communicate.
