As of 2:30pm Saturday, all Delta flights in and out are cancelled. I believe that's the charter teams flying in/out use..it was 10 years ago when I worked for them.
The Giants are flying United Airlines.

They're actually on Continental...that's an old file photo probably when they went to the super bowl...

Looks like they're not flying until tomorrow morning.
People from the outside just don't understand MN weather.....they don't take it seriously until it's too late.
:)
I would say that is not true. These teams travel constantly, have people line the travel up for them, and so on. Storms happen, I am sure the Giants thought this could happen to them.Quote:

You also have to remember, it takes alot for a team to fly. They just can't pack up and take off. This isn't you and I flying halfway across the country on a local flight. It is probably 100 guys, gear, on a charter flight.
I would say people understand Minnesota weather very well. After all, they are from NY. Last I checked they did not have the world's greatest winters there.
At any rate, it is what it is.
Not consistently, but when we get hit, we get hit pretty hard.Quote:

They understand MN weather perfectly.
That's why they left early and are safely in their MN motel rooms tonight.
;)
(I think you'd argue about just about anything I said, right?)

Giants fans worrying.
:)
Probably not the best thing for the Giants. It's tough enough to play on the road without this added distraction.
