Guys, as much as I despise GB there is a reason. I'll break it down:

    GB 16th total offense
    MV 25th total offense

    GB 10th total defense
    MV 28th total defense

They are playing at Lambau Field. Sure, GB is 2-7 but do you know they have scored more than their opponents? Granted their win against NO was 52-3 but even if we beat NO by that score we would still be well below our points against. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why the odds makers chose to give the Vikings points. Jimmymac makes good points in his post. I agree.

Before I get criticized, I'm not saying GB is a better team. What I am saying is there stats are better whether we like it or not and GB is at home where the Vikings don't win very often.

Well, the Pack have out-scored their opponents 201-184, and we've been out-scored 154-228. Plus they're at home, the game is outdoors where we suck, and it gonna be COLD on monday night!

The spread is also indicative that usually the Vikes play poorly away from home, on natural turf and in the cold. And don't for one minute think that the Packers don't remember the playoff loss last year at Lambeau. They will be pumped. We're gonna have to play one of our best games of the year to win.

The line opened at Green Bay -3.5 and it has even moved to Green Bay -4.5 at some sportsbooks. So it looks like early action is on the Packers.

The books usually pick a line that reflects the public's perception of a game. The "public" saw a good offensive performance by the Pack against Atlanta whereas the public may perceive the Vikings special teams/defensive win as a fluke.
