Re: Get ready to see this a lot more this season!

There was some crappy blocking in there.
But, Allen is a stud with a motor that keeps on running.

    It's going to really exciting.

Good stuff. I'm up for some NFL soon.

Good moves by Allen, but oh my gosh there's also some bad OLine blocking in some of those
To me it looked like good blocking.
    Allen is just that good!
Some of it he just overpowers or over runs his man, which is truly good. Then there is also a clearly blown coverage, where he has a freeway to the QB

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Yeah, but I think there are alot of blown coverages that don't get taken advantage of. So the lesson is, You need to be perfect, but even then he may destroy you lol. I cannot wait to see him in action. Because he is a Viking "Rookie" Not an NFL "Rookie" does he play the pre-season like a rookie or a starter?

I do too, but probably many here won't or should I say shouldn't? It is similar to Culpepper's "get your roll on" that many here hate.
Agreed. Everyone is going to like it just because it Allen. It is very similar. I like them both.

I'm not a big fan of celebrating at all. If you do it do it modest... It's not fair against your opponent and it's even a bit childish to do dancemoves etc. What i did like was when AD made a TD he just 'dropped' the ball to cheer with the fans.

I had zero problem with the 'get your roll on' thing when Culpepper was throwing 39 TDs in 2004.
I don't think I'll mind watching Allen celebrate after each sack, even if I have to watch it 20 times next year.
When the age of the Vikings came to a close, they must have sensed it. Probably, they gathered together one evening, slapped each other on the back and said, "Hey, good job." - Jack Handey [Deep Thoughts]

I don't care about his celebration sack ritual. As long as Turnovers are forced, and the run gets stopped.

Maybe he can teach Shank how to get separation and make the over the shoulder catch in the end zone.
This man plays all out, should be a blast watching him chasing QB's this year.
