Gary Zimmerman voted into the HOF

Disclaimer: Before anyone states this belongs in the "Carter doesn't make HOF" thread, it's because that thread is about Cris. In light of him & McDaniel not making it in & all the attention that is bringing, lets not minimize or forget what Zimmerman has done for the Vikings & why he deserves to be there. This thread is about Zimmerman, not Carter or McDaniel

Former Vikings Carter, McDaniel left out of Hall

PHOENIX - Gary Zimmerman was pleasantly surprised, but Cris Carter was surprisingly snubbed....

I heard Zimm on a radio interview this morning. He said he has fond memories of the fans, teammates, and coaches from his Vikings days but that the management did not treat him well. He said they didn't want him ....whereas denver
made him feel right at home, so he feels like a Bronco. He did give very high praise for Doleman, saying that playing across from CD made him the player he became.
It has always bugged me when a great career ends someplace else.
