Re: Gameball week 3 vs Panthers

I gotta take EJ on this one, he was part of the play just about every time, I was impressed by Gus today, he made the throws that needed to make...Winfield's play was a huge momentum shift, too.
IMO they all come close for that game ball, but I have to say EJ.
They did a great job as a whole defensive unit today, I had fun watching our D.

I voted Winfield. But I would probably give out one to EJ as well if it were up to me.
I just wanted to add that Sharper had a pretty good game today. He takes a lot of critcism at PP.O. , but today he played well.
In fact, Smith got his catches, but that defense controlled him well enough.
    Smoot sucks!

EJ played great and helped us stay in the game, but AW's TD before half was the spark that got the whole team going. But yeah Tjack should get honorable mention for not standing in the way of a victory lol.

There should be three game balls distributed today. Definately one goes to EJ, the guy was a beast. The second game ball deserves to go to Winfield. That sack/fumble recovery for the touchdown, completely changed the game around. And lastly, the fans at the stadium deserve huge kudos for being as loud as they were. It was awesome to see how the noise factor played a huge part of the game...Delhomme was rattled.

I got Winfield. You go 10-10 into the locker room. He turned the game around.

What? No love for Shiancoe's TD catch?

It's probably an overstatement, but I felt like that play turned the season around.
Our team looked pretty dead for two+ games.
After that play it was like a light got turned on for our defense.
Just the attitude of the guys on the sideline seemed to change instantly.
When the age of the Vikings came to a close, they must have sensed it. Probably, they gathered together one evening, slapped each other on the back and said, "Hey, good job." - Jack Handey [Deep Thoughts]
