Re: Gameball week 17 vs Giants

Had to go with my boy B-wade, however, I damn near gave it to Mr. Longwell.

Absolutely loved his KO'fs this weekend.

Id at least consider Maurice Hicks but special teams in general a big part of that win. hilarious. I think Id pick Adrian Peterson though. He had the huge TD and just kept consistent and steady for our game. Jackson was off and on mostly off but in those off times Adrian was solid. Jackson was below mediocre. Berrian and Wade needed to come to a complete stop to catch his only two big gains. Looked terrible other wise. Had that idiot play interception in the endzone and topped it with a unnecessary roughness call. He definately didn't lead us to that victory. Look poor if you ask me. I can't pick Longwell just because he's a kicker and kickers are worthless and don't win game or lose them. Its up to every play up to the field goal. Every play besides it. They shouldnt need to rely on him. Especially for a win. And especially 51 yards against scrubs.

I think the play he called was just to burn some time, it didnt look like it was the intention to complete that play, but the reciever needed to run out there in order to not get the grounding penalty on the play..

I have to give it to T-Jack. He kept his cool after throwing that heartbreaking INT and led us back to a TD and back into FG range there at the end.
Against second string, third string or whatever ... he kept his cool and made the plays that needed made.

LOL, I hardly think it had anything to do with confidence in his kicker but rather a bit of indicision on the Offensive side of the ball with respect to if they could get another play off to get it a bit closer.

I for one was very upset over all the time that ticked away, and how confused the team was, but in no way was I upset over the attempt to catch the Giants with thier shorts down and get it a bit closer.

Clearly TJ had only one target and he was to only attempt the throw if he was wide open.
If he wasn't he was to throw it away.

Again, hack on him for something that deserves to be hacked on and that wasn't one of them.
