Thread: A game about nothing means something to Vikings' future

i hope we do play alot of the rookies. give them one last chance to do something before the offseason and helps us decided which of them are going to be starting next year and which are not.
and if its like a preseason game, we will probley win as we were 3-1

I live in a small town in the mountains. We don't have any sports bars here with multiple games on, just the regular offerings. Mostly that is the CA teams that are playing. Not to mention that I am not sure I want to watch the game this week. It will just be a litany, from the announcers, of what happened to the Vikings this year and why we didn't make the playoffs, and the boat scandal, etc etc etc. I will be listening to Paul Allen on the radio instead. :smile:

If we are down at halftime,

I may just have to take the field myself in the third quarter (naked that is) and take out Grossman......LOL

I take that back, I might just have to leave my Boots on.....

I am still looking forward to this game because it could be a real sign of things to come at the beginning of the game at least. We will be sending our new and gelled defense up against their offense and Rex Grossman (their QB of the future). Also it could be a good sign to see if Troy is ready to make that next step as well as Ciatrick and Erasmus.
I would also like to see Napo show me something for a change! While it is not a preseason game, this is a game where we can learn a lot about what might be the future of the Purple!

lots of people on here say they wouldnt mind losing because we would get a better draft pick........WHAT!!!!!!!!! come on everyone.. we have to win. if we win we go 9-7. doesnt anyone wanna have a winning record after a horrible start. I would take alot of pride in that. 8-8??????? i dont wanna go 8-8 again and i kno no one else does either. you can talk about the draft if you want but we are still in this season and we play to win no matter what. Im going to the game this week and im gonna be as load as i f**king can to help this team finish strong. SKOL
