Marshall should be on there for sure! Foreman was so damn good too. He was ahead of his time. A RB that not only ran the ball, but caught it out of the backfield! He was one of the first great multipurpose backs!!
I agree with Marshall being in the HoF. Baseball has its Ironman in Ripken, Marshall still holds the NFL Ironman mark. We won't mention his most infamous play to the committee! I am only 30, so I have only watched these games on ESPN Classic also, I love those games!

Foreman also had a very good blocking back as did so many of the great runners of the sixties and seventies. Ed Marinaro who graduted from Cornell he was also a very good reciever. The rumor was Ed whould not have started except Fran Tarkenton wanted him in the backfield to catch as Foreman was not a good reciever when he first came into the league.
    can we clone Bud Grant?

Well that's a wrong rumor. Chucks rec. skills was why he played more WR in college than he did RB. Also, Ed never had as many rec, rec yds, or rec ave as Chuck did.

    1973 rec yds ave td
    Chuck Foreman 37 362 9.8 2
    Ed Marinaro 26 196 7.5 2

    1974 rec yds ave td
    Chuck Foreman 53 586 11.1 6
    Ed Marinaro 17 132 7.8 1

    1974 rec yds ave td
    Chuck Foreman 73 691 9.5 9
    Ed Marinaro 54 462 8.6 3
