I don't know if you can rent videos on that stuff. I would love to buy videos of all the old school games and stuff. I have only seen all those guys play on ESPN classic and stuff. I wasn't around when all those guys played!
Yeah, I wasn't around when the Purple People Eaters played either.

I wasn't around either. ( I'm the same age as his son Jay ) I've seen a bunch of game footage though.... He was so slick that his moves had moves.

Thanks for posting the info Jackyl. I wrote him wishing him a Happy B-Day. For those of you who think the current RB's are versatile (Moore, Smith, and Bennett), I strongly suggest you settle down and view the "Purple Power Years" tape to see some good highlights of Foreman. One of these days, I'll transfer my VHS tape of it to DVD and distribute copies for those interested.

I agree...I am actually old enough to remember Foreman's glory years...he would take those short "dink" passes from Sir Francis and turn them into physical works of art with his smooth running style. In a way, it was a prototypical form of the West Coast offense...and I don't doubt that #44 would be as dominant in today's game as he was in his own era! I am glad to see that the younger fans like yourself can appreciate what great football was back in the 70's...I would definitely be interested in your DVD once it is completed!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE
