A fumble to start and poor D tackles.

Those were the two key reasons why the Vikes lost 31-28. It took the Vikings most of the first half to recover from that fumble, and at the end of the game with 3rd and 8? the Vikings D missed the easy tackle and gave Indy the first down. If either one of those two went differently the Vikes would have won that game. So once again in a great Monday night game, the Vikings own mistakes cost them the game.

It hurts, yet all will be forgiven when the Vikes shred the Packers next week.

    SKOL Vikings!!!

You are so right about the poor tackling. The little dump of by Manning sums up the game. We need some better pass/rush.

what we need is to send more than just four to rush... even though i realize a LB was sent on that left-handed dump pass... what i want to know is where was ej henderson to make the middle his own... once the dump happened, there was no in front of Egde. i like EJ...think he is great young gifted LB, but where was he tonight?

If the D line puts pressure like they did tonight, the D shouldn't look too bad...but as usual, the tackling sucked...Form Tackling for everyone!!!

I only got to see the last 3:39 of the game but I would say they were spread all over the field and that just played into the colts hands. I was a bit excited to start the season with the Vikings new DC but from what I have seen so far this season he really sucks!
    can we clone Bud Grant?

Three DC's in three years and the Vikings still don't know how to tackle.
Sure Elling got hurt, but at least he still made the tackle. It's really bad when your kicker upstages your defensive secondary.

Johnstone disapointed me with his stupid penalty and then missed the tackle on Edge when he was step for step with him on the outlet. I just dont understand. Pretty frustrating, all we can do is look foward to next week.

All the Pack can do is dread next week cause the Vikings are angry and looking to do some damage.
