Gus Frerotte cannot escape the pressure.
Criticism of the Vikings quarterback for holding the ball too long and taking eight sacks in the past two games comes from every corner of his team's headquarters and his family's home...

Re: Frerotte aiming to find rhythm - Hopes to perk up team's offense
He's playing like a guy who doesn't care because he won't be here next year or a guy that faces no repercussions no matter how bad he does. Odd.

LOL! No offense taken.
I don't write them, I just post them. Good, bad or indifferent.

It's simple, just don't force the ball, and make mistakes. Work within the timing offense. Gus have got to get rid of it on time. And a last couple things Gus, Gus, you must amble/bumble/stumble for a couple yards to get a first down or avoid a sack by throwing it away.
After reading the article, I hope Childress isn't expecting the same sort of shootout as last time. This is for the NFCN Division lead going down the stretch, and I expect a hardnosed, hardhitting defensive struggle with AD scoring late to seal the victory in a far lower scoring contest than the game at Soldier Field.

Never the most mobile quarterback to begin with, the 37-year-old Frerotte has been vulnerable to a heavy rush and thus taken 28 sacks in nine games. After last week's 30-12 win at Jacksonville, Childress criticized Frerotte for holding onto the ball too long.
Many of these are Gus's responsibility...our O line hasn't been great, but it's not that bad.
Also, we better find a way to cover the TE.
