    He's the only quarterback we have with upside. I'd love to see him start after the Green Bay game, because we need to find out if he is capable of being "the guy." If he steps in and plays convincingly, we might not need to address our quarterback position. Although, if Carr is available when we pick in the second, it might be worth snatching him up anyway.

    Cutting Ponder would create a chunk of dead money, i think he stays, he might not play, but it would be stupid to "waste" money. Don't think he has any value in a trade.

    I think that they realized after the horrible game Freeman had that he doesn't have to perform for us this year. I also think that his pocket presence is the best of all our QBs. I think that making him go through the offseason will make a huge difference if he decides to resign with us. We will see at the end of the year what we are going to do. Ponder is not the answer.
