Thread: Free Agent Tight Ends

Sionce the west coast needs a tight end who can strech the field and this guy is still out there, I think we should really look at him. With wiggins and kleinsasser catching dump offs, I think this guy could strecth the field for us.

Vishante Shinacoe, he was on the giants for the last 3 years. He runs a 4.6, pretty strong and has good hands. I think he could really help us.

After all, he did learn from shockey.

He may be a good addition, but I doubt that the vikings will look at him because they need to start cutting down on players. Childress may feel that his tight ends are good enough, or they were better than anyone out in the free agent market...that is probably why we did not add an elite tight end.

I am cool with keeping Wiggins. He has great hands and is very consistant. He doesn't complain about anything and has played in 2 superbowls. Until he starts really sucking it up or starts complaing, which I don't see happening, I see no reason to get another tight end.

What makes you think he can stretch the field?

I can't see Childress bringing in another TE... Most head coaches would consider themselves blessed to have both Wiggy and Jimmy.
