My only fear is that this opens the door for Singletary? Am I wrong?

My guess is he will hire either Singletary or he will get an expert in the docile T2 scheme so we can continue to give up 400 yard passing games to the rest of the division.

Since Singletary already has that job, its a pretty good guess that he'll be moving up to be the next DC. Great.

I like Singletary! We desperately need a guy that will give our players a kick in the ass when they change plays on the field or blow coverage. He is definitely that guy. And we know that it's not going to be Leslie. He is too easy on them. A disciplinarian might be just what this team needs. And as long as its not the head coach, we won't have a Childress situation. Frazier and Singletary would be a nice defensive 1-2 punch for us. We'd be crazy to think we could get a guy like Spagnuolo or Nolan with teams like the Saints and Falcons bidding against us for them.

There were similar reports when he was in SF. That the coordinators did all the work. He THINKS all there is to coaching is yelling at the players and getting them fired up. He knows nothing about the X's and O's and has a tough time not understanding that not every single player is going to be as good as Mike Singletary. So he just starts yelling.

Yea I had already read that article. ON top of that, for me at least I remember seeing one of the sideline babes ask a 9ers player what was the difference from last year to this. His response was the difference is between being told how bad you suck all the time to being told how good you can be. Not his exact words. If that's true I'm not sure we need him around.
