Frazier's coaching career had humble beginning

    http://www.profootballweekly.com/2011/02/21/fraziers-coaching-career-had-humble-beginning
Some people might be surprised to learn that Leslie Frazier's head-coaching career didnít begin after Brad Childress was fired and he was promoted to the head job with the Minnesota Vikings.

This is an awesome article that I encourage everyone to read. I feel a whole lot better about Frazier after reading this article. If anyone has the inner strength to turn the Vikings around it just might be him.

I hope he succeeds...I really REALLY do. I just fear how the lack of a GM can potentially hurt a rookie HC.

I don't see Leslie as power mad as Childress was and to that end I think Spielman will have more of a GM role in this run than he had before. When Childress was fired one of the guys reporting on the amount of power Childress had made the comment that Childress had language put into his contract when they extended it stating that Spielman couldn't speak publicly after the season started and he offered a timeline of statements from Spielman that backed it up.

Frazier is a totally different coach than Childress was, I just hope that he gets the same support from the FO that Childress did in terms of signing players and keeping the team competitive and not the shaft that tice was handed.

I'm with you on that Caine. I don't think the potential loss of a lot of players will help him either. Hopefully he will be cut some slack on next season.
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.
